Born into the mountainous forests of Vermont, Katy was on skis before she could talk. Her love of the outdoors and academic pursuits brought her to Williams College, where she graduated in 2013 with a B.A. in Art History and Practice. In Williamstown, Katy fostered her passion for photography and studio art, spending her free time creating sketches and snapping inspirations along her adventures. Still an avid skier, Katy has travelled the world in search of the deepest Pow and tallest peaks… and this is exactly what brought her to Telluride in 2015. After gaining more design experience at a local Interiors firm, Katy joined the ZINQUE team in the spring of 2018, where she balances her technical drafting skills with her artistic eye, to help create our bespoke interior spaces. Katy also moonlights as a graphic designer at Wagner Custom, turning out unique skis tailored for each individual customer. If you cannot find Katy at ZINQUE, go check the surrounding mountains, where you will surely find her biking some gnarly trail, skinning up the backcountry for fresh turns, or clinging to a rock wall in her newest athletic passion.
