Born as a Colorado native, Jenny's love for the outdoors started at a very young age. Following in her older sisters footsteps, she started skiing when she was barely 2 years old. When she wasn't skiing or hiking outside, she could be found teaching herself how to sew, knit, or crochet. After attending The University of Kansas, Jenny returned back to Colorado to be closer to her family and jump back into the lifestyle of being outdoors once again. She began her career working with children, and teaching them the beauty of being outdoors and creativity that comes with it. Her first visit to Telluride was in 4th grade, and she knew deep down that someday she would be able to call this town home. After working in preschool in the Front Range, she finally made the move to Telluride in spring '17. Her hobby of fabrics and sewing continued to develop more and more, and the desire to change career paths always was in the back of her mind. Despite loving the school she taught at in Telluride (and spending her days with Aura and CCs adorable two boys), it seemed time for a change of scenery. Working in preschools for years, she finally decided to turn her hobbies into a new adventure. After joining Zinque in early 2019, Jenny is excited to be a part of such a talented group of women and her desire to learn more about the world of interior design continues to grow. When not working or in a fabric store, she can be found outside skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding or hiking with her dog Coltrane.
